Register Webhook URLs
You must provide two webhook endpoints
Endpoint1 : direct_debit_accepted
Endpoint2 : direct_debit_rejected
Use the Direct Debit API to initiate a payment request [Initiate a Payment > Direct Debit]
Initiate Direct Debit Payment
After the direct debit is initiated
If the bank approves the request and funds are transferred, a callback is sent to the direct_debit_accepted URL with transaction details.
If the bank rejects the request (e.g. due to insufficient funds), a callback is sent to the direct_debit_rejected URL with failure information.
Note: Even in the test environment, responses may take 2 to 3 business days. Direct debits are batch processed at End of Day, unlike modern real-time PayTo payments.
